Our team has a background in photography and videography, and we are dedicated to excellent customer service. You can visit us in the Bucktown neighborhood on the north side of Chicago. We are conveniently located right off the Kennedy Expressway.
Jason Davis
Owner
Jason is a lifelong Chicagoan and holds a degree from the Illinois Institute of Art. Prior to starting Chicago Scanning in 2018, Jason worked as a creative instructor at Apple in Lincoln Park. It was during his time at Apple that he discovered new ways to digitize vintage media and his family’s positive reaction to seeing those old photos and movies sparked his interest in digital archiving. Jason has over 20 years of experience in professional photography and graphic design.
Tyler McMullen
Digital Project Manager
Tyler has 9 years of experience working with digital photography and various analog formats such as slides, negatives & motion picture film. He attended the University of Illinois with a major in economics. Tyler helps manage nearly all of the projects at Chicago Scanning from start to finish.
Kian Krash
Digital Photo Media Manager
Kian is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Photography. As an artist and photographer for over 10 years, Kian is experienced in producing high quality images in both analog and digital formats. Kian’s hobbies include working on his own personal art and traveling the world.
Ruby Aviña
Video Technician
Ruby is the newest member of our video department. Ruby also works the Chicago comedy and acting scene. The’s no shortage of energy and positivity with Ruby around!
